About WCBFFA
The WCBFFA has served it's members and the community in a variety of important ways since it's inception in the lates 70's. Many things have changed over the years but the one thing which remains constant is the need for strength in unity with our industry.
Regular meetings are held a minimum of 4 times per year to facilitate discussion issues injecting our business. Through this forum we exchange ideas which are used to protect and advocate the best interest of our group as a whole.
The Board and specifically empowered committes execute our objective and goals through many forms of activity, such as:
Analysing issues confronting the trade community
Meeting with local government agencies to advocate effective local policies
Communicating relevant trade information to the membership
Conducting seminars and conferences to foster professional growth
It is important to remember that the level of active participation by members is directly related to the effectiveness of the association as a whole.
The biggest benefit of membership is derived from active participation on the various committees serving our members.
Regular membership is open to any individual or firm that holds customs brokerage license or holds registration as a freight forwarder.
Associate membership is available for all other individuals or firms engaged in industry related activities such as importers, exporters, trucking, consulting, education, and legal services.
The annual membership fees support access to a wide variety of seminars and information. The fees are also used to pay our annual fees as an Affiliate Association with the National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America.
